FPA of Florida is pleased to offer Ethics for CFP® Professionals with Melissa Kemp. This live virtual program satisfies the two-hour CFP Board Ethics requirement and provides two hours of Ethics CE for IARs through NASAA.


For CFP® professionals who are also Investment Adviser Representatives, this is a convenient way to complete two important ethics education requirements in one session.


This program goes beyond “check-the-box” CE by connecting ethics standards to real-world planning decisions, client trust,  conflicts of interest, fiduciary duty, disclosure, and professional conduct.

Speaker Profiles

 

Melissa Kemp, CFP®, AEP®, CAP®, CNAP® is currently the CEO of Financial Planning Association of Arizona. Melissa has a member of FPA since 2000.

She owns Premium Administration, LLC, specializing in providing professional administrative solutions to trustees of Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts. Operating continuously since 1998, this company accepts new business exclusively through referral networks.

She also owns Premium Organization, an Association Management Company, launched in 2000. Premium Organization provides administrative solutions for many nonprofit organizations, including 501(C)(3), (C)(4), and (C)(6) type entities.

When CFP Board elected to produce its own Ethics Course in advance of rolling out the new practice standards, Melissa served on the Ethics Work Group volunteering time and talent to shape the new course.
