Estate Planning Panel Discussion

From bringing the family together to bringing the team of professionals together. The estate planning process can be a messy business for both the client and the advisors involved.

Advisors can add significant value by facilitating the process, ensuring that the client ends up with a complete and quality final product and the attorney views the advisor as an ally.

Join us as our panel of estate planning attorneys share recent trends in estate planning, the most common pitfalls in the estate planning process, the various roles advisors can play to help avoid these pitfalls, and how advisors can make themselves indispensable to both the client and the attorney.

Accepted by CP Board for one (1) hour of continuing education.

Speaker Profiles

Richard L. Brooks, III, JD
St. Augustine Law Group

Richard grew up in Mars, Pennsylvania, a fact he is quite proud of. You could definitely say, “He’s out of this world.” His approach to legal matters, however, is very practical. He makes this possible by helping you navigate the potential perils and pitfalls of legal agreements with customers, vendors, and partners/members/shareholders.

Rich comes to the legal profession with a strong business background. He co-founded EcoTech Light & Energy, LLC, a dynamic commercial grade LED lighting company. Needless to say, he brings a unique insight to the estate planning discussion with business owners.

Matthew H. Hinson, JD
Managing Partner
The Hinson Law Firm, P.A

Matt focuses his practice on the probate and guardianship needs of the personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death legal practitioner. He has experience handling matters in multiple areas of law, including: probate administration and litigation, guardianship administration and litigation, personal injury/wrongful death matters, and estate planning (wills, trusts, durable power of attorney, living wills, and designation of pre-need guardians for minors).

Annie H. Janoski, JD
Shareholder
Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball, P.A.

Annie practices in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, and guardianship law.
